The Superdots is a brand, a solution and a feeling of empowerment all clumped up together. As a ‘brand’ we are consumed by healthy skin and being comfortable in your own skin, we strive to impact and serve all types of bumps and lumps whether it be early stage blemishes, blackheads, whiteheads, hormonal or cystic acne. Our ‘solution’ is skincare backed by science!

We have worked tirelessly to create products that are not only high performance but formulated with clean botanical ingredients and combined with cutting edge technology. The initial thought was a skincare solution with acne-prone skin in mind. The ‘feeling’ is to empower, celebrate and recognise diversity- there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to skincare and we get that! WHERE DID WE COME FROM?

Where do we start? So our co-founders have had experience in the skincare and wellness industry as well as product development. Steffan from personal experience grappled with mild acne and struggled with the after effects of scarring and dark spots. His continued frustrations led to partner Cheryl’s concern about how he felt about the skin he was and pushed Cheryl into seeking out solutions for dark skin tones and acne-prone skin. With her vast knowledge and experience in the skincare industry Cheryl researched acne solutions that also help in the healing process. 

WHY DID WE START?

Despite having an array of products that worked in tandem, Cheryl found the process of using a spot patch, followed by a salicylic acid serum, and then additional steps to be cumbersome in addressing skin issues. This realisation prompted her to conceive an all-in-one solution by consolidating key effective ingredients into a single, user-friendly application—the spot patch.

In the pursuit of this innovative concept, extensive research led Cheryl and Steffan to the discovery of self-dissolvable microdarts. Collaborating with a leading skincare laboratory in Korea, renowned for their expertise, they collectively were able to  team develop a successful self-dissolvable microdart patch. This patch incorporated a potent combination of spot-fighting ingredients, offering a comprehensive solution for subcutaneous spots as well as a transparent design to suit all skin tones.

WHAT WE DO?

Well…we have created, designed and engineered acne/blemish patches layered with 170 self-dissolving teeny weeny microdarts that flood the targeted area and tackle ALL stages of acne. And guess what? …our patches are transparent and discrete so you can wear them anytime and anywhere worry-free. Screaming ‘inclusivity’!  You’re probably thinking, is that it? Of course not! Although our clarifying patch is our very first hero product we are working on a range of solution-based products to address concerns and make you feel your best self in your skin.
